  Classy atmosphere, great selections, reasonable pricing. This is a nice place for a romantic dinner, lunch w friends, business meeting. Not a kid friendly space. The menu offered comfort food--meatloaf - awesome; and inventive options--sesame tuna rice bowl - delectable, fresh seared tuna. Can't wait to go back and next time I'm saving room for dessert

  My husband and I dine out very frequently. On this night, we decided to try Avenue Kitchen for the first time. Unfortunately, we will probably not be returning anytime soon. There are many good dining establishments in our area that we will return to. We both ordered the short ribs, always a favorite for us. The chef must not understand that short ribs are a slow cooked dish that falls off the bone. These were tough and my husband's contained mostly fat. The server was wonderful in allowing my husband to make another selection. However, I was nearly finished gnawing through mine by the time my husband's dinner arrived. We both ordered dessert which was nicely done. It's a shame that they did not apologize for the inedible first dinner that my husband ordered. They could have made the desserts complimentary but they did not. Since there are so many wonderful establishments in our local area, we will probably not return anytime soon.
